Sleep Sounds White Noise, Rain 4+

I woke up at 4am, as usual, and was up to 5/6am with my brain just running in circles about everything I need to take care of. I couldn’t take it any more. I looked for an application to help and found this one. When I say OMG! I slept so freaking good in that short period of time!!! I used noise canceling over the ear headphones, to just try it out. When I say I was sleep within like 10 minutes, like a baby, I was in deep sleep. I have used sleeping pills, melatonin, exercise, vitamins, etc, and nothing has done this. $60 a year, yeah expensive, but I’ll pay it for a goodnight deep sleep. Screw that. I’m tired of struggling with all of these other alternatives and being irritable the next day.

I have tried a number of sleep apps and this is definitely a favorite but there are some frustrations. First, the positives: I love the unique features like the cool, mesmerizing videos and the bedtime stories, and that it includes meditations - even ones that aren’t sleep related. It seems they’re trying to help ease anxiety, overall, to help you sleep better at night. I really love the large number of sounds (that are all available at once - no additional purchases to unlock some, like in other apps) and especially that you can mix sounds and save your favorite mixes. Only one real negative, so far, but it’s a big one: with a number of the sounds, you can definitely hear the restart of the loop. The basic fan sound even just stops for about 3 seconds every 15 seconds or so. The pink and white noises also have looping restart glitches you can clearly hear. When someone is already struggling to sleep, something like that is very noticeable! It’s really annoying, particularly when I have free apps that don’t do that and this one is $60 every year! But everything else is good, at this point. :)

I made an attempt to sign up for a seven day free trial on this app. I was immediately charged the full 5999 price out of my bank account without my seven day free trial after checking the app, I realize that there are better ones out there and after trying to get a refund I was told I can’t get a refund even though I was trying to get a seven day free trial. Apple has been no help and there is no way to contact the developer so I will write a review and let them know that how they have it set up is totally deceiving if you click on seven day free trial, it tells you don’t worry you won’t have to pay for seven days so then you try it and it says purchase failed but then it charged my account anyway it’s a shame that these people are in business, and able to run this sort of a business online with no recourse, but to take your money for something that you won’t even use. Update. I actually went to try to use the app and found that all of the sounds are locked even though I should have access so I attempted to restore my purchase for the $60 and the app does not work this company who develops this is in China or Hong Kong and you have absolutely no way to contact them so my bank is filing a dispute against the company
